Cinema City International N.V

Launched in the early 1980s., the Cinema City is a brand of multiplex cinemas in Eastern and Central Europe, run by the Israeli company Cinema City International. Cinema City's 65 multiplexes are located in Poland, Israel, Hungary, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Romania. The company focuses its activity on film exhibition, film distribution, home entertainment through DVD and VHS distribution, cinema advertising and real estate development. Since 1999 Cinema City has been an exclusive operator of 3D IMAX® theatres. It is worth mentioning that Cinema City is the fastest growing cinema chain in Europe and is planning the openings of further 42 mulitplex theatres which currently are under construction.
