Codorníu S.A.

Founded in 1551, Codorníu S.A. is the world's largest manufacturer of sparkling wine in the champagne style. It has a vineyard in Esplugues de Llobregat, Catalonia, and several offices in the USA, Argentina, Brazil, UK, Sweden, Germany, Finland and Japan. The company, harvesting tones of classic Penedès varieties of grapes, produces about 60 million bottles of the traditional Spanish sparkling cava wine a year, under the brands named Codorníu Original, Codorníu Clásico, Codorníu Teresa, Codorníu Reserva Raventó Codorníu Pinot Noir, Jaume Codorníu and Anna de Codorníu. There is a Cava Museum in the estate, as well as a winery and guided tours.
