The Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor is a manufacturer of engine powered generators. It specializes in medium and large diesel based power-generating systems. The company supplies many power stations around the world including 2- and 4-stroke plants, as well as biogas and CHP plants. Since 1990 the enterprise belongs to the Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and it is also a member of the Independent Power Producers (IPP).
